If you ask someone about the fastest animals, I am pretty sure that a lot of them will say horses and it is totally true. Horses are one of the fastest animals and because of this characteristic, the horse races were created. Even in the wild, when they are part of the food chain of other animals, a lot of predators fail to catch them because they manage to escape.
I am pretty sure that a lot of you have ridden a horse at full speed and then you have realized how fast it really is. It might not seem as fast when you just look at them running, but as soon as you try it by yourself, then it is quite an evidence that this is incredibly high speed.
I mean, this horse in the video below is running at a speed of 44 mph, which is out of this world. He even stands apart from other horses, not a lot of them can run at such a speed. It is great riding on a horse which is galloping at a certain speed because you feel the adrenaline rushing all over your body but it is more amazing when you take it on camera and what you are going to watch in this video is a jockey on a horse recording the whole galloping.
This is what it looks like from the jockey’s point of view to “work out” a racehorse at high speed. It gives you chills only by watching it, not to mention trying it yourselves. It might be everybody’s dream to gallop a horse as fast as it can go on a nice track like this, it must feel like heaven.
The ride starts very smoothly and little do you expect that it will become so fast, to the point that the objects that are in front of the horse-rider duo become a little blurred for the viewer. Some people would say that this is crazy but I am pretty sure that a lot of you would have loved to have been in the rider’s place.
