A shocking situation unfolded when a herd of 30 Shetland ponies was abandoned by their previous owner after losing their profitability. The herd consisted of 28 pregnant mares and 2 stallions—an incredibly large family with even more mouths to feed once the foals arrived. The scale of this rescue mission was enormous.
