Born nine weeks prematurely in 2014, Dumbledore faced a challenging start that would test the dedication of any caregiver. His early arrival meant he battled multiple serious health complications right from the beginning. As his owner explained, “He did not know how to suckle or behave as a normal foal. He had no knee caps or stifles, his lungs had not developed, he had extremely low white blood cells, and a few other life-threatening conditions.”
That tiny foal spent his first weeks in ICU, dangerously underweight and fragile. For several months, his owner bottle-fed him every single two hours, providing round-the-clock care during his most vulnerable period. Those early months were spent mostly indoors, as Dumbledore needed a controlled, safe environment to grow stronger.
Thanks to his owner’s unwavering commitment and unconditional love, Dumbledore not only survived—he thrived! Today, he’s a happy, healthy, and spirited little pony ready to enjoy life to the fullest.
