It was a cold, dark evening when Gigja and her family were settling in at home, preparing to watch the European Song Contest. But their cozy night was interrupted by a call from a concerned neighbor—a young foal was stuck in a fence near the farm. Without hesitation, despite the harsh weather conditions, Gigja sprang into action to rescue the distressed animal.
The rescue was successful, and soon the foal found itself safe, warm, and fed at the family’s home. That’s when something magical happened.

Gigja described the beautiful scene: “The sun was shining and the foal followed her wherever she went, came to a halt when she stopped, galloped around her and kicked its hind legs in the air. Both of them were terribly proud of themselves.”
